Why Trust Natalie With Your Student
With more than 25 years in education, Natalie brings a level of experience that goes far beyond the classroom. She has worked with students of all ages and backgrounds, guiding them not only academically, but emotionally, helping them navigate challenges, build confidence, and discover who they are becoming.
She is calm under pressure, steady in difficult moments, and deeply patient with students who need extra care. Whether she’s de-escalating conflict, supporting a student through an emotional situation, or simply creating a safe space for someone to be heard, Natalie leads with both strength and compassion.
But what truly sets her apart is how she connects.
Natalie takes the time to understand each student as an individual, recognizing that every child is different, and that growth looks different for everyone. Students trust her. They open up to her. Many describe her as “like a therapist,” because she listens without judgment and meets them exactly where they are.
As a mother of three sons who are now thriving in college, Natalie understands what it takes to raise confident, capable young adults. She believes that every student has the ability to achieve their goals when given the right environment, encouragement, and accountability. She holds students to a high standard, while also helping them build the confidence to rise to it.
She doesn’t just teach, she mentors.
From helping students set goals and plan their futures to guiding aspiring teachers through real-world classroom experience, Natalie is deeply invested in preparing students for what comes next. She challenges them to step outside of their comfort zones, advocate for themselves, and grow into who they are meant to be.
And for Deanna, the trust runs deep.
Natalie has not only mentored countless students who return years later to thank her for the impact she made on their lives, she has also been trusted personally with Deanna’s own child and foster children. She doesn’t just “watch” kids, he engages with them, pours into them, and loves them like her own.
If you ask Deanna to describe her in one sentence, it’s simple: You’ll be hard-pressed to find a teacher who cares more about your student than Natalie.
At Future Hitmakers Academy, that level of care isn’t an exception, it’s the standard.
"Because confident students aren’t born, they’re built, one encouraging lesson at a time."
