Travel & Airport Shuttle
Here's everything you need to know about getting to Nashville and back.
Getting to Nashville
Students fly into Nashville International Airport (BNA). We recommend booking flights only after your enrollment is confirmed and your spot is secured.
FHA staff will be stationed at baggage claim, not the arrival gate, to meet students during our designated arrival window. Please plan your flight accordingly.
Arrival Window: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Sunday July 12
FHA staff will be stationed at baggage claim at BNA to meet all students arriving within this window and shuttle them to the program location. Please book flights that land by 4:30 PM to allow time to collect luggage and meet staff.
Arriving outside the shuttle window? No problem. Purchase an add-on ground transportation ticket so FHA staff can coordinate your pickup.
Purchase Arrival Add-On Shuttle TicketGetting Home
Shuttle service back to Nashville International Airport (BNA) is included for those departing within our departure window on the final day of the program.
Please book your return flight to allow enough time for the shuttle ride and airport check-in. We recommend no earlier than 5:30 PM.
Departure Window: 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Friday July 17
Shuttle service back to BNA is included for students departing within this window. We recommend booking return flights no earlier than 5:30 PM to allow time for the shuttle ride and check-in.
Departing outside the shuttle window? No problem. Purchase an add-on ground transportation ticket so FHA staff can coordinate your drop-off.
Purchase Departure Add-On Shuttle TicketFlight Information Required for ALL Students: It is imperative that FHA staff know your arrival and departure times and flight information, regardless of whether you are taking the FHA shuttle during the pick-up window or purchasing an add-on shuttle ticket. We must have your flight details so we can track delays and coordinate accordingly.
Please submit your travel information on the Student Information Sheet found under the Resources and Waivers tab.
Important: Students may NOT travel using Unaccompanied Minor (UM) airline status. FHA staff meet students at baggage claim, not the gate. UM status requires an authorized adult at the arrival gate. Please book accordingly.
Lodging & Accommodations
Students and staff live together at a vetted, secure facility for the full duration of the program.
Program Lodging, Nashville
Lodging Type
Students and staff will be housed together at a private Airbnb in the Vanderbilt/Parthenon neighborhood of Nashville. Numerous connected townhomes will house everyone. Located with easy access to program venues, it is comfortable, home-like, and a far more connected experience than a hotel.
Exact Address: Provided to enrolled families prior to the program start date for safety and security reasons.
Room Setup & Safety
Rooms are typically shared between 2-4 students. Every student will have their own bed. Bathrooms are shared among students. Students and staff always have separate bathroom facilities.
We make every effort to arrange all-male and all-female houses or floors, to the best of our ability.
Students may submit roommate requests within 2 weeks of the program start date.
Staff rooms are located among student rooms throughout the facility. Students are supervised at all times.
Townhome Photo Gallery
Take a look inside. Decor is subject to change as it is an Airbnb property, however this gives you a great sense of the amenities, room layouts, and feel of where your student will be staying.
Photos are representative of the property. Decor and furnishings are subject to change as this is a privately owned Airbnb. Room assignments will be communicated prior to the program start date.
Dress Code
Your student will be inside professional music industry venues, record labels, and iconic Nashville locations. Here's how to dress for it.
Think Stylish. Think Put-Together. Think Music Industry.
What to Wear
- Trendy casual outfits, this is the music business, not a boardroom
- Stylish, put-together daywear for sessions and venue visits
- Evening attire that is confident and classy for shows and dinners
- Comfortable, already-broken-in walking shoes, you'll log serious miles
- Light jacket or sweater, venues and event spaces can be cold
- Clean, presentable clothing at all times
What NOT to Wear
- Short shorts or short skirts
- Revealing tops or dresses
- Offensive graphics, language, or imagery on any clothing
- Brand new shoes you haven't broken in
- Anything you wouldn't wear to meet a music industry executive
Staff reserve the right to ask a student to change before entering any professional environment. When in doubt, dress up rather than down.
Required Waivers & Forms
Enrollment is not fully finalized until all required documents are completed and returned. Please review and submit all forms as soon as possible after enrolling. You will receive links to each form in your enrollment confirmation email.
Document Checklist: All documents above must be completed before your enrollment is considered fully finalized. If you have any questions about a specific form, email [email protected]">[email protected].
For Parents & Guardians
We know sending your student to Nashville for a week is a big deal. Here's everything we want you to know.
Parent Evening Experience
On drop-off day, we invite parents and guardians to join us for an optional evening event, a dinner and an exclusive session on how the music industry works, things to watch out for, do's, don'ts, and how to best support your student's career goals.
This is your chance to meet the FHA team, ask your questions, and leave Nashville confident that your student is in the right hands.
You must add your student's program enrollment to your cart before you can add the Parent Dinner Add-On ticket.
Add Parent Dinner Ticket to CartParents are not permitted to attend program sessions or accompany students during the week. This is by design, a core part of what makes this program transformative is the independence, confidence, and peer connections students build when they navigate a new experience on their own. We've seen it change students every single time.
Staying connected: Students are permitted to use their phones before and after daily sessions. Parents will also have a direct staff contact number, and we maintain an active private Facebook group for parents with daily updates, photos, and announcements throughout the week.
Ready to Enroll?
Spots are capped at 48 students and enrollment closes when they're gone. The Early Bird rate of $5,000 is available through April 30, 2026. Don't wait, a program this size fills fast.
